How Velox Fits Into Match Day
Using Velox alongside your existing scoring platform
Overview
Velox does not handle stage scoring.
Instead, it is designed to manage everything around the match, while allowing clubs to continue using their existing scoring platform on match day.
The core idea
Velox is responsible for:
- Session setup
- Registration and squad assignment
- Managing capacity and waitlists
- Collecting registration-related data
Scoring platforms are responsible for:
- Stage scoring
- Match progression
- Results calculation
These responsibilities are intentionally separated.
Exporting registration data
To avoid entering the same information twice, Velox allows clubs to export registration data and load it into their scoring platform.
Exported data may include:
- Shooter names
- Divisions and categories
- Squad assignments
- Other registration-related information
Velox is currently working on integrations and export formats for:
- PractiScore
- Aria
Additional scoring platforms may be supported over time.
In short
Velox helps clubs prepare and organize.
Scoring platforms handle scoring.
Each tool does what it is best at.
