How Velox Fits Into Match Day

How Velox works alongside scoring systems before and after match day

Overview

Velox is designed to work alongside your existing scoring system, not replace it.

It does not handle stage scoring. Instead, it focuses on everything that happens before and after the match.

The core idea

Velox and scoring platforms each focus on different parts of the workflow.

Velox handles:

  • Session setup
  • Registration and squad assignment
  • Capacity management and waitlists
  • Collecting registration data
  • Compliance and data exporting
  • Payments
  • Club memberships

Payments are currently available in selected regions and are being expanded over time.

Scoring platforms handle:

  • Stage scoring
  • Match progression
  • Results calculation

This separation is intentional.

It allows clubs to keep using tools they already trust for scoring, while improving everything around the match.

Exporting registration data

To avoid entering the same information twice, Velox allows clubs to export registration data and import it into their scoring system.

Exports are structured to match the requirements of the target platform.

Currently supported or in progress:

  • PractiScore

In short

Velox handles preparation and coordination.

Scoring systems handle scoring.

Together, they create a more complete and efficient workflow.
