Velox Overview
What Velox is, how it works with scoring systems, and how it helps shooting clubs manage registrations, squads, and operations.
Welcome to Velox
Velox is a platform designed to help shooting clubs manage registrations, squads, and club operations with less manual work and less confusion.
It focuses on everything around scoring - not the scoring itself.
That means Velox supports the parts of running a match or training session that happen before and after match day, while existing scoring systems continue to handle scoring exactly as they do today.
Who Velox is for
Velox is built for:
- Shooters, who want clear information, easy registration, and fewer last-minute questions
- Range Officers (ROs), who want to know who is shooting, when, and under what conditions
- Match Directors (MDs) and club admins, who want fewer spreadsheets, fewer messages, and fewer things to remember
You do not need to be technical to use Velox.
What Velox helps manage
Velox is designed to support the core workflows around running a shooting session:
Registrations
Collect and manage shooter data in one place, support flexible registration flows, and keep shooters and admins updated.
Squad management
Plan and adjust squads with support for capacity limits, waitlists, and changes.
Memberships
Keep club memberships, roles, and shooter profiles connected in one system.
Some advanced features (such as perks) are currently being rolled out.
Communication
Share updates, files, and instructions without relying on scattered emails or messaging apps.
Data exports and compliance
Export data into scoring systems and support reporting or regulatory requirements.
Payments
Support payments for memberships and sessions in a more connected workflow.
Availability may vary by region.
Interface and usability
Provide a system that is easier to navigate and manage on a day-to-day basis.
What Velox does not replace
Velox is not a scoring system and does not change how scoring works on match day.
Clubs can continue using the same scoring tools exactly as they do today (as long as they are supported).
Velox is designed to work alongside existing workflows, not replace them or enforce a new structure.
How Velox fits into a shooting session workflow
A simplified view:
-
Before the session
Velox is used to publish the session, handle registration, squads, files, and communication. -
During the session
Existing scoring tools are used as usual. Velox does not interfere. -
After the session
Velox can be used for data exports, compliance work, and club management.
This separation is intentional.
A note on philosophy
Velox is built on a simple idea:
Clubs should not have to change how they run matches just to use better tools.
The goal is not to replace proven systems, but to modernize the surrounding experience for both shooters and staff, while keeping match day reliable and familiar.
What’s next?
If this is your first time using Velox, the next step is to create your club.
